Position Summary

The main purpose of this position is to ensure the accurate and efficient monitoring, management, and optimization of physical assets critical to operations. Duties And Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL

  • Develop and maintain asset tracking systems to monitor the location, status, and condition of ROVs and related equipment ( including other business segments assets).
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to verify the accuracy of asset data and identify areas for improvement.
  • Analyze data and generate reports to track asset utilization, performance metrics.
  • Participate in training sessions and knowledge sharing activities to build awareness and understanding of asset tracking processes across the organization.
  • Oversee the certification process for ROVs and associated equipment, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry requirements.
  • Manage documentation related to asset tracking, including maintenance records, inspection reports, and certification documentation.
  • Assist clients with documentation requirements, providing support and guidance as needed to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Prepare certification documents for ROVs and equipment, verifying compliance with applicable regulations and industry best practices.
  • Develop comprehensive specification sheets for ROV systems, including technical details, performance metrics, and operational requirements.
  • Provide technical support to project teams and operational staff during ROV deployments, troubleshooting issues, and offering solutions in real-time.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address any support needs related to ROV operations, ensuring seamless integration with overall project objectives.
  • Coordinate with project managers to develop comprehensive plans for ROV deployment, maintenance, and performance evaluation, ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Utilize Smartsheets or similar project management tools to create and manage specification sheets, project schedules, and performance evaluation reports.
  • Collaborate with teams using Smartsheets to track project milestones, and communicate updates related to ROV operations effectively.
  • Utilize SharePoint or similar collaboration platforms to create and manage documentation repositories for ROV specifications, maintenance procedures, and performance evaluation reports.
  • Leverage SharePoint's document management features to ensure version control, access control, and centralized storage of critical information related to ROV operations.

NON-ESSENTIAL

  • Undertake continuous improvement training programs and specific projects as instructed by management.
  • Assist Engineers with all technical support functions.
  • Handle escalated queries from Administrators.
  • Assist with any other duties as and when required

Qualifications

REQUIRED

  • B. TECH in ELECTRONICS /ELECTRICAL/MECHANICAL Engineering (E)
  • Able to work in rotational shifts 42.5 hours (weekly) (Morning, Evening, Night & Weekends) (E)
  • Knowledge of MS-Office and computer fundamentals (E)
  • Must be willing to Work from office as and when needed.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in asset documentation and reporting.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to asset management and maritime operations.

DESIRED

  • 0-1-year experience in Support Operations (P)
