Overview

We are seeking a motivated Civil / Water Resource or Environmental Engineering Apprentice to join our team.

Your role

• Work as part of the AtkinsRalis Water Management Consultancy (WMC) team.
• Work on a range of projects relating to flood/river modelling/surface water management/water quality modelling.
• Work to high standards, ensuring the right first-time delivery.
• Ownership of the work of self.
• Contribute to technical discussions/meetings positively through knowledge sharing.

About you

• Bachelor or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering, / Water Resource or Environmental Engineering from a recognised University.
• Demonstrable knowledge of hydraulic modelling as part of academic projects.
• Experience in using design or hydraulic modelling software for academic projects is preferred.
• Knowledge of Geographical Information Systems (GIS) e.g. MapInfo, ArcGIS or QGIS is preferred.
• Good report writing skills and fluency in English.
• Value addition through innovations and automation in project delivery.
• Candidates should have a clear and demonstrable technical understanding of flood risk assessment, water quality, and related issues, including, hydraulics and hydrology.
