What You'll Do
The Pricing Intern will support the Pricing Operations team in executing day-to-day pricing activities, analyzing data, preparing dashboards, and ensuring pricing accuracy across systems. This role is ideal for someone who is analytical, detail oriented, and eager to gain experience in pricing, commercial operations, and data-driven decision-making
A. Pricing Operations Support
- Assist in preparing and updating price lists, quotes, and customer pricing files.
- Support the creation of pricing approval requests and maintain documentation.
- Help in coordinating with cross functional teams (Sales, Finance, Product) for pricing-related inputs.
B. Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze pricing and commercial data to identify trends, errors, or improvement opportunities.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly pricing dashboards and performance metrics.
- Maintain pricing databases and ensure accuracy of master data.
C. Process Improvement
- Assist in identifying automation or process-enhancement opportunities in pricing workflows.
- Work with the Pricing team to standardize templates and documentation.
- Support testing of new tools, systems, or pricing modules when required.
D. Compliance & Governance
- Ensure adherence to pricing policies and approval matrices.
- Support audits or compliance checks by providing relevant data and reports.
Qualifications
MBA (Finance / Marketing / Operations), Engineering graduate with interest in commercial analytics also acceptable
Skills
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas required).
- Basic understanding of Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting tools (preferred).
- Knowledge of data handling and analytical techniques.
- Ability to work with large datasets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
- Curiosity to learn pricing strategies, commercial processes, and market dynamics.
