About the Role
We are looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented Apprentice QA Engineers who are passionate about software quality and testing. This opportunity is ideal for fresh engineering graduates who are eager to build a career in Quality Assurance, Test Automation, and Software Engineering.
As an Apprentice QA Engineer, you will work closely with experienced QA and development teams to understand application functionality, execute test cases, identify defects, and contribute to automation testing initiatives using Python or JavaScript.
This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to modern testing frameworks, Agile development environments, automation tools, and real-world product testing practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand product functionality, business workflows, and testing requirements.
- Execute manual and automated test cases for web-based applications and platforms.
- Identify, document, and track software defects with clear reproduction steps.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product teams to resolve issues.
- Participate in regression testing, smoke testing, functional testing, and integration testing activities.
- Learn and contribute to test automation using Python or JavaScript-based frameworks.
- Assist in creating and maintaining test scripts, test data, and QA documentation.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Ensure product quality, usability, and reliability through structured testing practices.
- Continuously learn and adapt to new testing tools, technologies, and frameworks.
Required Qualifications
- B.E / B.Tech degree completed only in:
- 2025
- 2026
- Educational background in:
- Computer Science Engineering
- Information Science
- Information Technology
- Electronics & Communication
- Related technical disciplines
Required Skills
- Basic programming knowledge in either:
- Python
- JavaScript
- Understanding of software testing concepts and QA methodologies.
- Basic understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
- Knowledge of web applications and APIs is an advantage.
- Familiarity with debugging and problem-solving techniques.
- Good analytical and logical thinking abilities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Eagerness to learn automation testing and QA best practices.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar testing tools.
- Basic understanding of databases and SQL queries.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Personal, academic, or internship projects related to testing or development.
Eligibility Criteria
- Only candidates who completed B.E / B.Tech in 2025 or 2026 are eligible.
- Strong academic background preferred.
- Candidates should be willing to work from Bangalore office.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills are mandatory.
