Position Summary

The Apprentice-Trainee will support the project team in learning and performing essential tasks that contribute to the successful delivery of Oceaneering projects. Working under the guidance of experienced staff, you will assist with basic project coordination, documentation, and communication while developing foundational skills in project controls and teamwork. This role offers hybrid work options based on project needs and may include domestic and international travel up to 25% of the year as part of your training and development.


Duties And Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL

  • Learn about the industry and related projects.
  • Learn about the company tools, processes, and procedures.
  • Learn project lifecycle and project execution activities from experienced professionals.
  • Gain knowledge, skills, and experience throughout the internship.
  • Learn how to maintain all relevant documentation as per the regional project management practices (SoW documents, change requests, schedules, risk register etc.)
  • Understand project specific deliverables, timelines, contractual terms and conditions & agreements.
  • Support project management professionals on project deliverables.
  • Learn how to Communicate regular and effective project updates to all stakeholders.

NON-ESSENTIAL

  • Assist with any other duties as and when required.
  • Undertake specific assignments/tasks as instructed by management.
  • Demonstrates high level of initiative to accomplish individual objectives assigned as well as team goals.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

  • Graduate in Engineering (Preferred in Mechanical or allied branch)

DESIRED

  • Familiarity with project management terminologies (Preferred with some Certification)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
