- Inventory & Store Operations
- Assist in receiving, inspecting, and storing goods as per hotel standards
- Maintain proper stock levels and avoid shortages or overstocking
- Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) and proper stock rotation practices
- Support in regular stock counts and inventory audits
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store area
- Verify quantity and quality of incoming materials against purchase orders
- Check for damages, expiry dates, and compliance with specifications
- Coordinate with departments for timely delivery of materials
- Maintain accurate records of stock inward and outward movements
- Assist in updating inventory systems (ERP/Excel)
- File invoices, delivery notes, and purchase documents properly
- Assist in preparing purchase requests and follow-ups with vendors
- Help in sourcing materials as per hotel requirements
- Support in comparing vendor quotations under supervision
- Work closely with kitchen, housekeeping, engineering, and F&B departments
- Ensure timely issue of materials to departments based on requisitions
- Minimize wastage, pilferage, and damages
- Support in monitoring consumption patterns
