The Housekeeping Apprentice supports the facilities team in maintaining cleanliness, safety, and orderliness within the premises. This role provides hands-on training and development in housekeeping operations, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and presentation across the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with cleaning and sanitizing assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, meeting rooms , and cafeteria.
- Learn proper use and maintenance of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Support in waste disposal and recycling procedures.
- Maintain supplies inventory and notify supervisors when stock is low.
- Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Report maintenance issues or hazards to the facilities supervisor.
- Assist with special cleaning projects or event setups as needed.
- Adhere to company policies and health & safety standards.
- Participate in training sessions to develop cleaning skills and knowledge of safety procedures
