In this role, you help us turn data into a reliable foundation for smart decisions in sales, marketing and customer success.
- Maintain, update and cleanse CRM database records so that customer and lead data is accurate, complete and easy to use.
- Conduct routine data audits, identify duplicates and perform data deduplication to keep the CRM clean and reliable.
- Standardize data formats, naming conventions and field structures, and monitor data integrity to detect and resolve inconsistencies.
- Import and export data using CRM tools (e.g. CSV/XLS imports, API-based connectors), ensuring that data flows are controlled and documented.
- Capture incoming leads from various channels such as web forms, events, social media, email campaigns and inbound calls.
- Validate, classify and score leads based on predefined qualification criteria, and assign them promptly to the right sales team members.
- Track lead source performance, maintain accurate attribution in the CRM and make sure new leads are correctly tagged, segmented and categorized.
- Support in configuring CRM fields, workflows, automation rules and dashboards, and help teams follow data entry best practices.
- Troubleshoot basic CRM issues and coordinate with IT or CRM vendors for resolutions when needed.
- Generate regular reports on lead status, funnel metrics and database health to give transparency on performance and data quality.
- Work closely with sales teams to ensure smooth lead handover and follow‑up, and support marketing with segmented contact lists for campaigns.
- Assist customer success with customer data insights where needed and provide guidance to colleagues on CRM data quality standards.
- Ensure all data processes comply with GDPR, data privacy regulations and internal security protocols, handling sensitive information with care and confidentiality.
What Sets You Apart
- Bringing a Bachelor's or master's degree in biotechnology (B Tech / MSc or equivalent).
- Joining as a Freshers or with up to 1 year of experience in a comparable role.
- Having strong knowledge of CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).
- Working confidently with Excel/Google Sheets and handling data in a structured, reliable way.
- Showing high attention to detail, strong analytical skills and a problem‑solving mindset.
- Managing multiple tasks and collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams.
- Communicating clearly – both in writing and verbally – and documenting processes in an understandable way.
- Ideally bringing experience with lead scoring models or marketing automation platforms.
- Having a basic understanding of APIs, integrations and data migration processes, and familiarity with tools like Zapier, Power Automate or Make.com.
- Any certifications in relevant CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce Admin, HubSpot CRM) are a plus.
