Job Purpose

This role is responsible for delivering assigned tasks to clients while operating as a valued team member under moderate to high supervision. Key responsibilities include designing and developing data pipelines in Python or SQL (for the Databricks environment) and VQL (for the Denodo environment), documenting designs and as-built specifications, performing testing of data pipelines, designing and developing dimensional models in Denodo and supporting user acceptance testing. The role also involves developing technical skills and confidence through hands-on experience, seeking guidance as needed, and actively contributing ideas and intellectual property. Additionally, the role holder is expected to proactively identify areas of interest and growth opportunities to enhance their capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Consulting

Developing data pipelines in Databricks and Denodo to build out a client's Data Lakehouse

Design and develops technical solutions to problems of moderate to high complexity, with guidance from senior stakeholders.

Contributes to definition of customers overall IT architecture

Welcomes coaching and guidance from peers with more experience, seeking advice when uncertain.

Demonstrates good interpersonal skills and diplomacy in dealings with clients and peers.

Provides input to technical proposals to be commercially acceptable to the customer and may make recommendations of solution/service trade-offs to more senior stakeholders.

Discuss and resolve proficient business and technology issues with clients as required.

Study and remain up to date with relevant technological change and obtain certifications in skills used within the Fujitsu AI & Data team as agreed with your mentor.

Ensures the timely delivery of assignment deliverables within the agreed budget and to quality standards.

Alert to opportunities for follow-on business, and communicates identified new business opportunities for Fujitsu.

Mandatory Experience
