Applied AI ML Associate

As a Applied AI Engineer within the Consumer and Community Banking team, you will be a member of an agile team, tasked with designing and delivering trusted, market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. You will be responsible for implementing critical technology solutions across multiple technical domains, supporting various business functions to achieve the firm's business objectives.

Our Consumer & Community Banking division serves our Chase customers through a range of financial services, including personal banking, credit cards, mortgages, auto financing, investment advice, small business loans and payment processing. Job responsibilities

• Creates and monitor secure and high-quality production code, maintaining algorithms that integrate seamlessly with generative AI systems and other appropriate technologies.
• Apply critical thinking skills and perform advanced analytics to identify the reason for non-performing models
• Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets to continuously improve generative AI applications and systems.
• Perform advanced quantitative and statistical analysis of large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that can be used to improve business performance
• Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data, using these insights to drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture specific to generative AI.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal education or certification on software engineering / AI concepts and 5+ years applied experience in Python and AI/ML frameworks.
• Experience with model optimization and performance tuning to ensure efficient and scalable solutions.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate generative AI solutions into broader business processes and applications.
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques, including supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning.
• Experience with AI/ML libraries and tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and Keras.
• Familiarity with data engineering practices to support AI model training and deployment.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Proficient in mathematical, statistics, economics or computer science with atleast a bachelor's degree is desirable or masters
• Knowledge on consumer banking/ retail banking products is mandatory

• Working knowledge of SQL, Tableau/ Alteryx is good to have
