Job Description
Company: Marxen
Role: Applied AI Full-Stack Engineer Intern
Experience: Fresher / 0–1 year
Stipend: 10,000/month
Opportunity: PPO based on performance
About the RoleWe're looking for an Applied AI Full-Stack Engineer Intern who wants to build real-world AI products — not just notebooks, demos, or college projects.
At Marxen, you'll work at the intersection of Applied AI, backend engineering, frontend development, APIs, databases, and deployment, building applications where AI is deeply integrated into products and workflows.
This role is ideal for fresh graduates and final-year students who are strong builders, learn fast, and enjoy figuring things out independently.
You do not need years of experience.
You do need to be able to build.
What You'll Work OnYou may work on:
- Building AI-powered web applications end-to-end
- Integrating LLMs and AI models into production applications
- Building APIs and backend services using Python / FastAPI / similar frameworks
- Developing modern frontend interfaces using React / Next.js
- Building RAG pipelines and retrieval systems
- Working with embeddings, vector databases, structured and unstructured data
- Integrating APIs from different AI and model providers
- Designing databases and application logic
- Creating internal AI tools, agents, workflows, and automation systems
- Deploying and testing applications in real environments
- Improving latency, reliability, and overall product experience
- Rapidly prototyping new Applied AI product ideas
You'll get exposure to the complete journey from:
Idea → Prototype → Product → Deployment
What We're Looking ForYou should have a good understanding of programming fundamentals and ideally be comfortable with some of the following:
Backend- Python
- FastAPI / Flask / Django
- REST APIs
- SQL / PostgreSQL
- Basic database design
- JavaScript / TypeScript
- React
- Next.js
- HTML / CSS
- LLM APIs
- Prompt engineering
- RAG
- Embeddings
- Vector databases
- AI agents / tool calling
- Working with open-source or hosted AI models
- Git / GitHub
- Debugging
- API integrations
- Basic Linux / terminal usage
- Deployment fundamentals
You don't need to know every technology listed above.
What matters more is whether you can learn quickly, understand systems, debug problems, and ship working software.
Who Should ApplyThis role is a strong fit if you:
- Are a fresher or recent graduate
- Have built projects outside your college coursework
- Experiment regularly with AI tools, APIs, and new technologies
- Can take an idea and turn it into a working prototype
- Are comfortable learning technologies you haven't used before
- Enjoy solving ambiguous engineering problems
- Care about building usable products, not just writing code
- Use AI-assisted development tools intelligently to move faster
Students graduating soon may also apply if they can commit seriously to the internship.
What Will Make You Stand OutWe care much more about proof of work than certificates.
Show us:
- GitHub projects
- AI applications you have built
- Hackathon projects
- Products you have deployed
- Open-source contributions
- Personal experiments
- Interesting automation or agent projects
A small project that actually works is more valuable to us than a long list of certifications.
Internship & PPOStipend: 10,000 per month
This internship comes with an opportunity for PPO conversion based on performance.
PPO evaluation will primarily consider:
- Engineering ability
- Speed of learning
- Ownership
- Quality of execution
- Problem-solving ability
- Ability to ship independently
- Performance during the internship
This will be a highly hands-on engineering role.
You'll get the opportunity to work on real Applied AI systems and understand how modern AI applications are designed, built, deployed, and operated.
You'll work closely with the team, take ownership of actual product components, and get significantly more responsibility than a typical internship.
How to ApplyApply through LinkedIn and make sure your profile includes links to your GitHub, portfolio, or projects.
When applying, tell us about one project you built that you're genuinely proud of and what exactly you built yourself.
We're looking for builders.
- If that's you, we'd love to hear from you.
