Applications Engineer

We are looking for a Workday Senior Software Integration Engineer to join our dynamic HR technology team. You will take ownership of developing, testing, and deploying cross-product integrations to meet critical business needs. Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed system integration specifications, field mapping, and process designs.
• Evaluate and communicate the technical impacts of application configuration decisions.
• Collaborate directly with Product Managers, Configuration Engineers, and cross-product teams to gather requirements and deliver on time.
• Maintain up-to-date integration design documentation.
• Conduct root cause analysis and execute action plans for break/fix scenarios.
• Ensure 100% alignment with all organizational policies and procedures.
• Maintain strict discretion and confidentiality with all sensitive HR data.

Required Skills

• B.S. Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Management Information Systems (Degree is strictly required).
• 4+ years of experience in software development and building integrations.
• 3+ years of experience integrating systems with third-party service vendors.
• 2-3+ Workday Integrations utilizing Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and payroll connectors (PECI), along with XML and XSLT.
• Experience with Web Services (WSDL, SOAP), EDI, and Flat file integrations.
• Completion of at least one full implementation of Workday, demonstrating technical integration expertise.
• Advanced understanding of the complete software implementation lifecycle, SaaS applications, deployment models, and SaaS DevOps.
• Proven ability to collaborate within an Agile Framework.
• Detail-oriented mindset with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills and a dedicated team player mentality.
• Ability to quickly pick up new technologies and common applications.

Preferred Skills (What Gives You an Edge)

• Workday Studio Certification (Highly preferred—these candidates will be prioritized).
• 4+ years of experience specifically focused on Workday integration.
• Strong experience with Object-Oriented concepts.
