Job Description

Oracle's Product Development team is looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Applications Developer (IC4) to join our innovative and fast-paced Oracle Recruiting product group.

As part of the Oracle Recruiting team, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and delivering cutting-edge solutions that drive our next generation of recruiting technologies on the Oracle Fusion Applications platform. We're seeking a candidate with a passion for technology, strong ethics, and creative problem-solving skills-someone who is eager to work hard, go above and beyond, and develop solutions that push boundaries and set new standards.

Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect, design, and implement high-quality software solutions within the Oracle Recruiting domain.
  • Leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) to enhance the user experience and automate business processes.
  • Develop applications using Oracle Redwood technologies to deliver intuitive, modern user interfaces.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver features across the Fusion Applications lifecycle.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for innovation, process improvements, and efficiency gains.
  • Ensure adherence to Oracle's secure development practices, compliance, and code quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7 plus years of experience in application development, preferably within cloud or enterprise software environments.
  • Proven expertise in AI, ML, and a track record of delivering data-driven solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Redwood and its design system, as well as modern front-end JavaScript frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of the Oracle Recruiting domain and the Fusion Applications lifecycle (from design to deployment and continuous improvement).
  • Strong analytical and out of the box problem-solving skills.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
