Applications and Integration Manager

Role Purpose

The Applications & Integration Manager is responsible for partnering with the business application owners to drive system implementations, enhancements, integration, and intelligent automation of our client's core software-as-a-service (SaaS) platforms, including NetSuite, NetSuite Planning & Budgeting, and Coupa.

This role co-owns end-to-end delivery of application implementation and enhancement initiatives, manages cross-platform integrations, and applies AI-enabled capabilities to improve process efficiency, data insights, and user experience. The ideal candidate combines strong project delivery discipline, deep SaaS application understanding, and a practical mindset for automation and AI adoption.

Key Responsibilities

1. SaaS Application Enhancement & Delivery

Co-own, together with business application owners, and manage implementation and enhancement roadmaps for enterprise SaaS applications. Translate business requirements into structured delivery plans, ensuring scope, timeline, cost, and quality are tightly managed. Partner with Finance, Procurement, and other relevant stakeholders to prioritise enhancements aligned to business outcomes.

2. Integration & Data Flow Management

Lead the design, development, and delivery of integrations between SaaS platforms and surrounding systems. Ensure reliable, secure, and scalable data flows across finance, procurement, and reporting processes. Govern integration standards, error handling, monitoring, and documentation.

3. Project & Programme Management

Manage multiple concurrent projects using structured delivery methodologies (Agile / Hybrid / Waterfall as appropriate). Own project plans, RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) logs, change control, and steering group updates. Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and vendor deliverables to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.

4. AI & Intelligent Automation Enablement

Identify and implement AI-enabled use cases across SaaS platforms, such as forecasting enhancements, anomaly detection, intelligent approvals, spend analytics, and automated reconciliations. Partner with internal teams and vendors to embed AI responsibly into business workflows.

5. Vendor & Partner Management

Act as the primary IT delivery interface for SaaS vendors, system integrators, and implementation partners. Manage vendor performance, delivery quality, and adherence to contractual SLAs. Coordinate issue resolution, roadmap alignment, and continuous improvement initiatives.

6. Governance, Controls & Quality Assurance

Ensure application implementations, enhancements and integrations comply with IT governance, security, and data protection standards. Coordinate testing strategies including SIT, UAT, and regression testing. Maintain clear documentation, release notes, and operational handover artefacts.

Platform Stability & Integration Quality

Improved integration reliability with reduced data errors and reconciliation issues. Stable post‑go‑live performance with minimal production incidents.

Business Value & Automation

Measured efficiency gains from automation and AI use cases (cycle time reduction, manual effort reduction). Positive stakeholder feedback on delivered enhancements.

Vendor Performance

Consistent SLA adherence and delivery quality from SaaS vendors and system integrators.

Qualifications & Experience

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in IT project management with a strong focus on SaaS enterprise applications implementations and enhancements.
• Strong experience delivering system integrations (iPaaS, APIs, data pipelines).
• Proven track record managing vendors and system integrators.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred

• Exposure to AI-enabled enterprise use cases (forecasting, analytics, intelligent automation).
• Experience with iPaaS platforms such as Workato.
• Experience managing NetSuite, NetSuite Planning & Budgeting, and/or Coupa.
• Project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum).
• Experience in finance, procurement, or ERP-led transformation programmes.
