Project Role Description : Act as the ongoing interface between the client and the system or application. Dedicated to quality, using exceptional communication skills to keep our world class systems running. Can accurately define a client issue and can interpret and design a resolution based on deep product knowledge.

Summary:

As an Application Tech Support Practitioner, your day revolves around serving as the continuous liaison between clients and the system or application environment. You dedicate your efforts to maintaining high-quality service by employing clear and effective communication to ensure the smooth operation of advanced systems. Your role involves accurately identifying client concerns and thoughtfully crafting solutions grounded in a thorough understanding of the product, thereby supporting seamless system functionality and client satisfaction throughout daily interactions.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
  • Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
  • Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance and reliability.
  • Document and share knowledge to support continuous improvement and team learning.
  • Assist junior team members in understanding system processes and troubleshooting techniques.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in AIX System Administration.
  • Strong knowledge of operating system concepts, including process management, file systems, and security.
  • Experience in monitoring system performance and implementing tuning measures to optimize efficiency.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages to automate routine tasks and improve operational workflows.
  • Understanding of backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.

Additional Information:

  • The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in AIX System Administration.
  • This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
  • A 15 years full time education is required.
