Application Support (Unix/Linux, Python)

Job Description:

• We are seeking a skilled Application Support Engineer with strong exposure to Unix Linux environments and Python to support business critical applications
• The role involves troubleshooting production issues monitoring system performance supporting batch processes and ensuring application stability and availability

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide L2 production support for enterprise applications in Unix Linux environments
• Monitor application health logs and system performance to ensure uptime and SLA adherence
• Troubleshoot and resolve application batch job and system related issues
• Perform log analysis debugging and root cause analysis for recurring incidents
• Support Python based applications scripts including debugging and minor enhancements
• Monitor and manage batch jobs scheduling and job failures AutoSys cron or similar
• Coordinate with L1 L3 teams developers and infrastructure teams for issue resolution
• Handle incidents service requests and problem management in line with ITIL processes
• Support deployments releases and environment validation activities
• Maintain documentation SOPs and knowledge base articles
