Introduction & Summary
We are seeking an experienced Application Support Specialist with 2 to 4 years of expertise in SAP functional areas. The individual will be responsible for daily management and support of SAP users, focusing on incident management, troubleshooting, and performing non-regression testing. Candidates must possess a solid understanding of SAP transaction codes and be ready to provide technical training and support.
Main Responsibilities
The core duty of this role includes providing first-level support within SAP.
- Provide level 1 support for SAP with basic transaction code knowledge.
- Deliver technical support, training, and troubleshooting for end-users.
- Monitor SAP jobs and Idoc processing.
- Troubleshoot and fix bugs in failed SAP jobs.
- Re-run jobs that have ended with errors.
- Assist clients in understanding level 1 SAP activities.
- Perform Non-regression testing during monthly releases.
- Train and support junior SAP technicians.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of experience supporting SAP functional areas.
- Functional knowledge of SAP modules including FICO, MM, SD, PP, QM, EHS, LE, PM.
- Interface knowledge with both SAP and Non-SAP systems.
- ITIL certification.
Nice to Have
- Relevant certifications such as SAP Certified Technology Associate and SAP Certified Development Associate.
- A familiarity with the latest SAP technologies, tools, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team.
- Knowledge of ITSM processes including Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
