Key Responsibilities
• Oversee the full lifecycle of healthcare applications, including planning, implementation,upgrades, maintenance, optimization, and decommissioning.
• Manage day-to-day operations, incident resolution, change management, and service requestsfor all supported applications.
• Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and IT teams to understand requirements, mapworkflows, and deliver solutions that improve patient care, operational efficiency, and userexperience.
• Ensure high availability, performance, security, and data integrity of applications; coordinatewith vendors for support, patches, and enhancements.
• Manage application integrations with other systems (e.g., HL7, FHIR, DICOM) and third-party solutions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, data privacy laws, and healthcare standards(e.g., HIPAA,JCI, NABH, ISO 27001).
• Monitor application performance, generate reports, and provide insights for continuousimprovement.
• Develop and maintain documentation, training materials, and knowledge bases for end-usersand support teams.
• Stay updated on emerging healthcare IT trends, technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications & ExperienceEducation:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technolog(BSC-IT)y, Computer Science, or a related field(required).Experience:
• 3+ years of progressive experience in Healthcare IT, with at least 2–3 years in applicationmanagement, support, or leadership roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with EHR/EMR systems, or custom HIS.
• Proven experience managing teams and leading healthcare IT projects.Skills & Competencies:
• Deep knowledge of healthcare workflows, clinical processes, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in application integration technologies, databases (SQL), and reporting tools.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
