Application Support Engineer

Job Description

Over 5 years of experience in data integration, application support, data quality and user support.

• Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Risk, IT, Computer Science, Math, or a related field
• Proven track record of working in cross-functional project teams and Agile environments.
• Familiarity with middleware tools, SOAP UI, Postman, SQL, XML, and JSON troubleshooting.
• Proven ability to analyze complex issues and synthesize actionable insights.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Basic knowledge on what is SDLC of an application.

Technical Skills & Key Tools:

• API Testing Tools: SOAP UI, Postman for payload simulation and testing.
• Familiarity with monitoring logs and data flow in middleware and integration layers.
• Experience with ITSM platforms such as Jira, ServiceNow (SNOW), or similar for incident and problem management.
• Experience with MS Tools and manipulating and analyzing data with Excel.
• Strong skills in SQL queries, data validation, middleware logs, and interpreting XML/JSON files.
• Experienced with Business Intelligence tools and applications is a plus
• Knowledge and experience in Commodity Business processes are a plus
