Job Description

Major Responsibilities:

  • Handle L1/L2 production support tickets
  • Perform basic SQL queries for data verification and fixes
  • Execute database scripts during issue resolution
  • Monitor SQL jobs and alerts
  • Perform initial troubleshooting and root cause analysis
  • Escalate complex issues to development or infra teams
  • Support application releases and deployments

Key Competencies:

  • 2+ years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of T-SQL
  • Experience with SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE
  • Understanding of joins, stored procedures, and views
  • Experience in production support environment
  • Familiarity with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of SQL Server backups and jobs
  • Exposure to banking or financial applications

Soft Skills

  • Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work in a Shift or support environment.

Remarks:

Minimum 4 years of overall experience. At least 2+ years experience in Microsoft SQL Server
