Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Application Support Engineer, based in Kochi.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead installation, configuration, and support of access control systems and custom software

* Provide L2/L3 technical support for critical issues and escalations

* Manage integrations with HRMS and other enterprise systems

* Support and maintain:

  * Visitor Management Systems (VMS)

  * Time & Attendance Systems

  * Car Parking Management Systems

* Work on systems based on Nedap and Invixium products

* Handle incident management, including:

  * Incident logging, analysis, and root cause identification

  * Timely resolution and escalation

  * Preparation of incident reports and RCA documents

* Perform system installation, commissioning, and on-site support

* Troubleshoot hardware, software, and integration-related issues

* Manage and support Windows Server environments

* Configure and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases

* Write and execute SQL queries for troubleshooting and reporting

* Support load balancer environments and high-availability systems

* Monitor system health, performance, and uptime

* Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders

* Maintain detailed technical documentation and reports

Required Skills & Experience

* 5+ years of experience in Technical Support / Field Engineering

* Strong experience in ELV systems, especially access control

* Hands-on experience in:

  * Access control system deployment and support

  * HRMS integrations

  * Visitor Management, Time & Attendance, and Parking systems

* Proven experience with Nedap and/or Invixium solutions

* Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments

* Experience in Microsoft SQL Server configuration and management

* Good knowledge of SQL queries (SELECT, JOIN, UPDATE, etc.)

* Experience working in load-balanced / high-availability environments

* Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Electronics, IT, or related field

* Experience in oil & gas or large enterprise environments (ADNOC preferred)

* Basic networking knowledge (IP, firewall, ports, VPN)

* Understanding of cybersecurity practices and system hardening

Soft Skills

* Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset

* Good communication and stakeholder handling skills

* Ability to manage critical incidents under pressure

* Leadership mindset with ability to guide junior engineers

* Willingness to travel to site locations
