About The Role
We are seeking L1.5 Support Engineers across Junior levels to support critical enterprise applications. The role focuses on troubleshooting application issues, monitoring production environments, supporting AS400-based systems, and ensuring smooth operations through effective incident management and analysis.

L1.5 Support Engineer Junior
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L1.5 support by troubleshooting and resolving application issues.
- Monitor and support AS400 systems, COBOL applications, and DB2 databases.
- Perform DB2 queries and basic SQL analysis for issue investigation.
- Monitor and support nightly batch jobs and policy data processing.
- Identify recurring issues, analyse trends, and prevent future incidents.
- Collaborate with technical teams and document incidents and resolutions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Junior: 13 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with AS400 / IBM i / iSeries systems.
- Knowledge of COBOL, DB2 querying, and CL commands.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
Desired Qualifications (Optional)
- Experience with Dynatrace or IBM monitoring tools.
- Basic DB2 SQL and data analysis skills.
- Experience supporting legacy AS400 applications.
- Exposure to the insurance domain.
