As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. The position demands continuous monitoring, troubleshooting, and collaboration with different teams to maintain system stability and performance, contributing to the overall efficiency of business processes.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of application issues.
• Document troubleshooting steps and solutions to build a knowledge base for future reference.
• Assist in the deployment and configuration of application packages to support business needs.
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential risks or bottlenecks.
• Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on application support processes.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Application Packaging.
• Experience with software deployment tools and scripting languages to automate packaging and installation processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex system interactions.
• Familiarity with operating system environments and their impact on application behavior.
• Ability to work with configuration management and version control systems.
• Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• This position is based at our Pune office.
