Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP RE-FX Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Flexible Real Estate Management (RE-FX), Lease Accounting, and Contract Management. The consultant will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting real estate and lease management processes while ensuring seamless integration with SAP Finance and related modules.

Key Responsibilities

SAP RE-FX Functional Expertise

Configure and support SAP Flexible Real Estate Management (RE-FX) solutions.

Manage end-to-end real estate and lease administration processes.

Support lease contract lifecycle management, including creation, modification, renewal, termination, and reporting.

Configure business entities, rental objects, contracts, and occupancy management.

Support rent calculations, periodic postings, and contract-based accounting processes.

Lease Accounting

Implement and support Lease Accounting processes in compliance with accounting standards such as:

IFRS 16

ASC 842

Configure lease valuation, right-of-use (ROU) asset calculations, and lease liability accounting.

Support lease measurement, reassessment, modifications, and periodic accounting postings.

Perform lease accounting reconciliations and reporting.

Contract Management

Configure and support:

Lease-in contracts

Lease-out contracts

Property contracts

Service contracts

Manage contract creation, amendments, renewals, terminations, and settlements.

Ensure proper integration between RE-FX contracts and Finance processes.

Sales Enablement & Customization Support

Support sales enablement processes and business requirements within RE-FX.

Participate in minor enhancements and customizations related to real estate processes.

Work with technical teams on functional specifications, testing, and deployment of enhancements.

Integration & Support

Ensure integration between RE-FX and:

SAP FI (Financial Accounting)

SAP CO (Controlling)

SAP Asset Accounting (AA)

SAP Project Systems (PS), where applicable

Conduct system testing, UAT support, defect resolution, and production support activities.

Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, training materials, and process documentation.

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience in SAP RE-FX (Flexible Real Estate Management).

Expertise in Lease Accounting and Contract Management processes.

Experience With Lease Lifecycle Management And Accounting Compliance Requirements.

Knowledge of IFRS 16 and/or ASC 842 lease accounting standards.

Experience in contract creation, contract amendments, and settlement processes.

Understanding of RE-FX integration with SAP FI/CO and Asset Accounting.

Experience in requirement gathering, configuration, testing, and user support.

Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

SAP S/4HANA Finance and RE-FX experience.

Experience in multiple implementation and support projects.

Exposure to real estate, retail, commercial property management, or facilities management industries.

SAP certification in Finance or Real Estate Management is an advantage., 15 years full time education
