As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service that identifies and solves issues within multiple components of critical business systems. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex software problems, ensuring that business operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will engage in proactive monitoring and maintenance of systems, contributing to the overall reliability and performance of the applications you support. Your role will require you to stay updated on the latest technologies and methodologies to enhance service delivery and improve user experience.
As Network Tower team lead, you will act as the ongoing interface for your network steams. Your typical day will involve collaborating with teams, interpreting and resolving issues, and ensuring smooth system operations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Manage and prioritize support tickets to ensure timely resolution.
- Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement preventive measures.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for troubleshooting and knowledge sharing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system or application issues.
- Document client issues and resolutions for future reference.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Mandatory Basic Networking skills : Routing & Switching (CCNP or equivalent)
- Must to Have Skills : Cisco Wireless, Cisco DC Technologies (Nexus), Cisco ACI, Branch SDWAN, Routing and Switching, Palo Alto FW, Cisco Firewalls
- Good to have Skills : BGP, OSPF, HSRP, VRRP, STP, SVI, VTP
- Good to have knowledge on Skills : Automation, Wireless, Firewalls
- Proficiency in SD-WAN Operations and implementation
- Strong understanding of network protocols and configurations.
- Experience in troubleshooting network connectivity issues.
- Knowledge of ITIL framework for service management.
- Hands-on Experience with network monitoring tools.
