Project Role : Application Support Engineer

Project Role Description : Act as software detectives, provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.

Summary:

Experienced Application Lead with a strong background in TIBCO Administrator to manage ,monitor, and support our TIBCO middleware infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, deployment, and maintenance of TIBCO products (such as BW, EMS, RV, Hawk, Administrator, etc.) in both development and production environments and Good experience in shell script for automation .

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience in Tibco BW technology with familiar with TIBCO BW,EMS,Admin,Hawk,Oracle and Shell script.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade TIBCO suite of products (BW, EMS, Hawk, RV, Admin, etc.)
  • Monitor TIBCO environments and ensure high availability, performance tuning, and system health.
  • Manage deployments and migrations across development, test, and production environments.
  • Set up and maintain scripts for automated deployments and monitoring.
  • Experience with Shell script for Automation.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to message delivery, queue management, service availability, and integrations.
  • Work closely with development teams for application integration support.
  • Perform backup and recovery of configurations and system state.
  • Patch and upgrade middleware components regularly, ensuring security and stability.
  • Document installation procedures, operational guidelines, and troubleshooting tips.
  • Participate in on-call support rotations and provide timely issue resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with internal IT policies and security guidelines.
  • Monitoring and alerting by using tools like ServiceNow, Splunk.
  • Incident response and root cause analysis.
  • Problem solving and debugging skills
  • Experience with SSL certification Installation.

Additional Information:

The candidate should have minimum 6+ years of experience in Tibco BW technology .

Good to have experience with Shell script ,oracle and Splunk

This position is based in Chennai/Bangalore, 15 years full time education
