As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by actively monitoring and diagnosing issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behavior, and ensuring smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous engagement with system performance, collaborating with different teams to maintain system stability and reliability, and swiftly addressing any disruptions to minimize business impact.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
  • Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
  • Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of system issues and enhance overall system performance.
  • Document and communicate findings and solutions clearly to support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
  • Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow IT Service Management.
  • Strong understanding of IT service management principles and best practices.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues within enterprise IT systems.
  • Ability to analyze system logs and performance metrics to identify root causes of problems.
  • Familiarity with incident, problem, and change management processes within IT service frameworks.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with technical teams and stakeholders.

Additional Information:

  • The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in ServiceNow IT Service Management.
  • This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
  • A 15 years full time education is required.
