Summary:

As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behavior, and ensuring smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous monitoring, collaboration with different teams, and delivering timely solutions to maintain system reliability and performance in a dynamic work environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
  • Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
  • Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system challenges and provide effective resolutions.
  • Document troubleshooting steps and solutions to build a knowledge base for future reference.
  • Assist in the continuous improvement of support processes and tools to enhance service delivery.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members to foster their professional growth.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Epic Systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve complex software issues.
  • Experience with system monitoring and incident management tools to track and address system anomalies.
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with software lifecycle processes and best practices in application support.
  • Capability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Information:

  • The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Epic Systems.
  • This position is based at our Bhubaneswar office.
  • A 15 years full time education is required.
