As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by actively monitoring and investigating issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behavior, and ensuring the smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous engagement with system performance, troubleshooting complex scenarios, and collaborating with different teams to maintain service reliability and efficiency throughout the day.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of incidents and minimize system downtime.
• Document and communicate findings and solutions clearly to support knowledge sharing within the team.
• Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support to enhance their technical capabilities.
• Continuously monitor system health and performance to anticipate potential issues before they impact business operations.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in DevOps.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to streamline software delivery processes.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure as code and automation tools to manage cloud environments effectively.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application deployment, configuration, and performance.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies and orchestration platforms to support scalable application environments.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools to ensure system reliability and quick incident response.
