Summary:

As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. The position demands continuous monitoring, collaboration with different teams, and delivering timely solutions to maintain system stability and performance in a dynamic environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
Responsible for team decisions.
Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
Lead efforts to improve system reliability and optimize support processes.
Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical and problem-solving skills.

Professional & Technical Skills:

Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
Strong knowledge of debugging and troubleshooting techniques within SAP environments.
Experience in analyzing system logs and performance metrics to identify root causes.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams to coordinate issue resolution.
Familiarity with database concepts and integration points in SAP HANA systems.

Additional Information:

The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
This position is based at our BDC14A - STPI office.
A 15 years full time education is required.
