Project Role Description : Act as software detectives, provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.

Must have skills : Microsoft Windows Desktop Management

Summary:

As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behavior, and ensuring smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous monitoring, collaboration with different teams, and delivering timely solutions to maintain system reliability and performance in a dynamic work environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
  • Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
  • Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and support of business applications.
  • Document troubleshooting processes and solutions to build a knowledge base for future reference.
  • Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on complex issues.
  • Continuously monitor system performance and proactively identify potential risks or failures.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Desktop Management.
  • Strong understanding of operating system architecture and troubleshooting techniques related to desktop environments.
  • Experience in managing software installations, updates, and configurations on Windows platforms.
  • Ability to analyze logs and system alerts to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Familiarity with remote support tools and techniques to assist users across different locations.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and patch management within Windows desktop environments.

Additional Information:

  • The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Microsoft Windows Desktop Management.
  • This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
  • A 15 years full time education is required.
