We are looking for an experienced Application Security Engineer with strong expertise in security frameworks, application security practices, and production support environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for securing applications, identifying vulnerabilities, implementing security controls, and supporting secure deployment practices across enterprise applications and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities 

Implement and manage application security best practices across development and production environments. 

Perform secure code reviews, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing coordination. 

Integrate security controls within CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows. 

Configure and manage tools such as AKAMAI and SonarQube for security monitoring and code quality analysis. 

Support production applications by troubleshooting security incidents and ensuring compliance with security standards. 

Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to remediate vulnerabilities. 

Ensure adherence to organizational and industry-standard security frameworks and policies. 

Monitor security alerts, logs, and threat intelligence to proactively identify risks. 

Participate in incident response and root cause analysis for security-related issues. 

Create and maintain security documentation, procedures, and reports. 

Required Qualifications 

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, IT, or related field. 

6–7 years of hands-on experience in Application Security and Production Support. 

Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10, secure SDLC, and security frameworks. 

Experience with AKAMAI security solutions and SonarQube implementation. 

Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD security integration. 

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. 

Preferred Qualifications 

Experience in cloud security and container security. 

Knowledge of automation and scripting tools. 

Exposure to compliance standards such as ISO 27001, SOC2, or PCI-DSS. 

Certifications (Preferred) 

CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) 

CISSP 

CSSLP 

Any relevant Application Security or Cloud Security certification
