DESCRIPTION:
As a Supervisor of Application Scientists at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you'll guide a team of technical experts while making meaningful contributions to scientific discoveries. In this multifaceted role, you'll promote excellence in both pre-sales and post-sales technical support, ensuring exceptional customer experiences through product demonstrations, training, and application development. You'll build connections between sales and technical teams while serving as a trusted scientific advisor to customers and colleagues alike.

Working closely with commercial teams, you'll help increase revenue by delivering high-quality technical support services and developing innovative applications and workflows. You'll support your team through mentorship, performance management, and career development while maintaining strong customer relationships. You'll implement strategy, achieve commercial support goals, and ensure your team provides outstanding scientific expertise across our instrument portfolio.

REQUIREMENTS:
. Masters Degree plus 6 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 10 years of experience in relevant scientific applications and instrumentation (Ph.D. will have added advantage)
. Preferred Fields of Study: Chemistry, Pharmacy or related scientific field with specialization aligned with specific product/application area (e.g. Chromatography, mass spectrometry, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Food testing)
. Strong technical expertise in specific product area (e.g. Ion Chromatography, mass spectrometry, Chromatography)
. Excellence in customer-facing communication and presentation skills
. Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and priorities
. Experience developing and delivering technical training programs
. Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
. Proficiency in English additional language skills welcomed
. Willingness to travel up to 40%
. Proven ability to build collaborative relationships across functions
. Ability to translate customer feedback into actionable insights

. Proven team leadership and people management experience
. Strong commitment to safety protocols and regulatory compliance
