Mandatory Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in MSI Application Packaging.
- Experience with MSIX and Win32 application packaging.
- Strong knowledge of PSADT and PowerShell scripting.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune.
- Strong experience with SCCM/MECM application deployment.
- Good understanding of Windows 10/11 and Windows Server environments.
- Experience in application deployment testing and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain MSI, MSIX, Win32 and PSADT-based application packages for enterprise environments.
- Perform application packaging, customization, testing, troubleshooting and deployment-readiness activities on Windows 11 platforms.
- Execute and validate application deployments through Microsoft Intune and SCCM/MECM.
- Configure and validate requirement rules, detection methods, supersedence, dependencies and rollback scenarios.
- Perform end-to-end packaging validation, including installation, uninstallation, upgrade, repair, UAT support and regression testing.
- Troubleshoot complex application issues involving registry, file systems, services, drivers, COM components and user-profile settings.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell and PSADT automation scripts to improve packaging efficiency and standardization.
- Create deployment-ready packages for Intune, SCCM, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and VDI environments.
- Perform application compatibility assessments, dependency analysis and remediation.
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure compatibility with BeyondTrust Elevation Management and validate privilege-elevation requirements.
- Work with WDAC/AppLocker, Application Control and least-privilege access requirements.
- Prepare packaging and deployment documentation according to enterprise standards.
- Collaborate with application owners, infrastructure teams, security teams and business stakeholders.
- Mentor junior packaging engineers and conduct peer reviews.
- Provide technical guidance for complex packaging and deployment scenarios.
