Project Role Description:
As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact for technical solutions. You will oversee the implementation and management of the Cassandra database, ensuring optimal performance and security.

Summary:
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with DataStax and must possess mandatory experience as a DataStax administrator.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Set up and configure DataStax Cassandra DBMS across multiple environments.
- Optimize read and write data operations and manage data migration from other file systems.
- Monitor and maintain the performance, health, and security of Cassandra clusters.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, including performance bottlenecks and data inconsistencies.
- Implement backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and minimize downtime.
- Stay updated with DataStax and Cassandra releases, new features, security patches, and industry best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must Have Skills:
- 9+ years of experience handling NoSQL databases
- Strong knowledge of the DataStax Enterprise (DSE) platform and Cassandra architecture
- Proficient in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting DataStax Enterprise (DSE) Cassandra clusters
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting
- Experience in performance tuning of Cassandra clusters to support high read/write throughput
Additional Information:
- Good to have knowledge of other database technologies (MSSQL, ORACLE, PostgreSQL, Redis, DB2).
- This position may require 24/7 support for database operations.
