Summary:

As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. You will be responsible for managing the team and ensuring successful project delivery. Your typical day will involve collaborating with multiple teams, making key decisions, and providing solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. With your expertise and leadership, you will contribute to the success of our projects and drive innovation in application development.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
• Collaborate and manage the team to ensure performance.
• Responsible for making team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
• Lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications.
• Act as the primary point of contact for the project.
• Manage the team and ensure successful project delivery.
• Engage in daily verbal and written communication with Japanese clients and Accenture Japan to collaboratively perform tasks.
• Work in a 24x7 environment and execute tasks according to specified procedures and timelines, escalating issues when necessary.
• Responsible for the day-to-day management of incidents and service requests, including ticket creation, analysis, reporting, and follow-up based on Service Level Agreements (SLA) for response and resolution times.
• Handle Service Desk administrative and analyst tasks, such as logging tickets, assigning tickets, changing ticket status, priority, and description, and generating ticket reports.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Japanese certification level: N2 and above.
• Must-Have Skills: Proficiency in Japanese Language.
• Good-to-Have Skills:
• Knowledge of Python or Java and team management.
• Ab Initio, Python, Hadoop, HQL, Spark, AWS.
• Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies.
• Experience in designing and developing applications.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or C++.
• Experience with database management systems.
• Good-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of front-end development frameworks like React or Angular.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have a minimum of 13 years of experience in Japanese language and the IT industry.
• This position is based at our Coimbatore office.
• A minimum of 15 years of full-time education is required.
