As an Application Lead, a typical day involves spearheading the design, development, and configuration of applications while serving as the main liaison for project stakeholders. This role requires coordinating efforts across various teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of application solutions. The Application Lead actively oversees project progress, addresses challenges, and facilitates communication to align objectives and expectations. Through strategic planning and hands-on involvement, the role ensures that applications meet business requirements and quality standards, fostering collaboration and driving project success.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Oversee project timelines and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery of application components.
- Mentor and support junior team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Facilitate effective communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to align project goals.
- Continuously evaluate and improve application processes to optimize efficiency and quality.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Business Intelligence (BI) Publisher.
- Strong knowledge of report design and development using Oracle BI Publisher tools.
- Experience in configuring and customizing BI Publisher templates and data models.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to BI Publisher reports and integrations.
- Familiarity with database querying and data extraction techniques to support report generation.
- Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver effective reporting solutions.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle Business Intelligence (BI) Publisher.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
