  • Build the devops capability for a leading GCC
  • Take ownership of the applications and platforms

Job Description

  • Lead the application development lifecycle, from planning to implementation, in alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of applications with existing systems.
  • Define and implement best practices for application development and deployment.
  • Oversee the resolution of technical issues and ensure minimal downtime for critical applications.
  • Monitor application performance and implement enhancements to improve efficiency and user experience.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards in all application processes.
  • Manage and mentor a team of developers and technical staff.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations for future application projects and technologies.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Application Head should have:

  • A strong educational background in technology, computer science, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in application development, deployment, and management with Devops
  • Experience in leading and mentoring technical teams in the Technology & Telecoms industry.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard software development practices and tools.
  • Familiarity with compliance and security requirements in the services sector.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
