About the Job: Technical Leadership in Web Development (Google Cloud)
- Lead all aspects of web development, including requirements gathering, software development, testing, documentation, training, implementation, and ongoing support.
- Work closely with a cross-functional team to develop both in-house and customer-facing web applications using UI and functional specs/prototypes.
- Take ownership and innovate to meet user and customer needs.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 12 years of experience in software development across multiple programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
- 5 years of experience managing engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in API development.
- Experience in enterprise architecture development.
- Knowledge of Google-wide technologies and methods.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership in designing and deploying distributed systems, particularly in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar cloud environments.
- Enforce rigorous development standards across technical design, solution development, system configuration, and testing.
- Architect and innovate automated solutions for business systems, with a focus on performance, security, and excellence in enterprise software platforms.
- Lead the development of supply chain products and solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs.
- Foster collaboration among geographically distributed teams, breaking down silos and promoting seamless communication.
