Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Application Engineer to support product implementation, customer solutions, and technical pre-sales activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in application engineering, cloud technologies, and customer-facing roles, with a strong problem-solving mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand and validate customer requirements for proof of concept and production implementations
- Configure and deploy products in customer environments
- Provide technical expertise during implementation and solution design
- Collaborate with sales teams to support technical proposals, RFPs, and client presentations
- Deliver product demonstrations and assist in building effective demo scenarios
- Provide advanced technical support (L3/L4) and troubleshoot complex issues
- Maintain technical documentation, best practices, and solution libraries
- Work closely with product management and development teams to share feedback and suggest improvements
- Support pre-sales and post-sales activities to ensure smooth customer onboarding and satisfaction
- Participate in internal testing, training, and knowledge-sharing sessions
- Stay updated with product roadmap, emerging technologies, and industry trends
Required Skills And Qualifications
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and system architecture
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or JavaScript
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Linux-based systems
- Knowledge of databases and data handling
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Understanding of industrial IoT, automation, or manufacturing environments is preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Good communication and customer interaction skills
Experience
- 2 to 4 years of experience in application engineering, solution engineering, or related technical roles
- Experience in domains such as cloud computing, networking, cybersecurity, or enterprise IT solutions
Education
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
- Relevant certifications (AWS, Azure, Cisco, VMware, etc.) will be an added advantage
