Application Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Support actively in application engineering activities for before non-std. order booking, after order booking and elevators car and shaft Layouts.

2. Select the elevator components and pre-approved technical solutions while offering non-std. solutions.

3. Evaluate and demonstrate technical feasibilities for offering non-std. solutions.

4. Analyse codes, understand customer requirements, technology & process of manufacturing, methods of installation & maintenance.

5. Understand Elevator System & perform system calculations.

6. Use elevator calculation tool or any other equivalent tool for calculations.

7. Perform hand calculations when desired.

8. Responsible for quality, on time delivery, documentation for each application engineering activities, know-how of document creation & storage as per ISO requirement.

9. Support the continuous improvement of standard kits and processes.

10. Referred best demonstrated practices.

11. Support actively for cross-functional projects / tasks

12. Fulfil assigned responsibilities according to MDC, apply corporate procedures, ON's & internal guidelines

Education & Qualification:

1. B.E/Diploma Mechanical

2. Hands-On exposure & practice on AutoCAD

Professional experience:

1. 3 to 6 years of engineering industry.

2. Preference for candidate who has elevator experience.
