Application Engineer

Global Engineering Standardization

• Develop and maintain standardized P&ID diagrams, symbols, and schematics as 2D CAD libraries for filtration systems and mechanical seal support systems used in pumps and compressors.
• Create and update standard engineering tools, work instructions, process flow charts, and project charters to support engineering standardization and continuous process improvement.
• Support the complete engineering design lifecycle, from initial product concept development through detailed design, testing, BOM creation, production drawings, part number creation, implementation, and ongoing technical support.
• Provide technical assistance to field engineering teams by developing training materials, technical documentation, and application-specific technical papers.

Pre-Order Engineering

• Plan and coordinate all techno-commercial activities related to filtration products and gas seal support systems.
• Analyze customer inquiries, project specifications, and application requirements to define optimal technical solutions.
• Perform selection of instrumentation, valves, filters, fluid control components, and associated ancillaries based on application needs.
• Carry out sizing calculations for filters and seal support systems across various industrial applications.
• Liaise with sub-vendors and Centers of Excellence for technical clarifications, product feasibility, and cost optimization.
• Prepare detailed technical proposals, quotations, and supporting documentation for selected products and systems.
• Develop and maintain engineering processes, procedures, and structured documentation, contributing to an organized knowledge bank for future reference.
