Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate customer requirements and develop solutions for a turnkey machine vision system for manufacturing applications
- Evaluate and select lighting and optics to create the imaging front end
- Work on data collection of the samples provided by the customers
- Prepare the feasibility report
- Integrate a turnkey machine vision system with robot and automation equipment and make adjustments, troubleshoot, and debug systems
- Travel and work in a factory environment to install and support a machine vision system to make sure all machines are qualified and ready for production according to schedule
- Provide supervision to other team members at machine builder sites and contract manufacturer (CM) production sites
- Help to prepare standard operating procedures for machine vision setup, train other team members, and provide support during overall machine setup and maintenance
- Troubleshoot and analyze the issues that happened on site, and provide failure analysis (FA) reports
- Communicate with both internal and external customers to establish a good working relationship
- Provide daily status and progress reports and attend update meetings
