The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering and experience in developing multiple applications. This candidate should be able to generate clean code and optimal solutions based on the outlined criteria. This candidate should also work closely with various teams in order to establish best practices, codes to utilize and ultimately, execute in creating a highly functional application.
Responsibilities
- To provide assistance to Sales Engineer during field trial in establishing tooling solution at customers with the selection of right machining parameters based on the application.
- To analyse techno-commercial viability and position appropriate products against the specific requirement of customer
- To offer techno-commercial solution to turn-key tooling projects and establish the same in pilot batch at customer.
- To engage in business development activities along with sales force at key and focus customers through confidence building activities like trials, promotion, seminars etc.
- To lead the sales team in identifying process improvement areas at customer end and provide right tooling proposal and establish the same to better CPC and productivity.
- To propose offer against RFQs proposed from customer.
- To act as the nodal coordinator in complaint management system and assist sales team with the right strategy in both real time and offline troubleshooting cases.
- To plan aggressive back up strategy in business retention cases against the competitor through right upgradation of products and establishment
- To generate success cases and sharing amongst team to update and help deploy at similar applications
- To coordinate with stake holders in back-office team in design, project and production for finalizing solution or proposing any new products
- To facilitate Field trials of new products in market and sharing right feedback in improving or positioning the same
- To build technical competence amongst the sales team though required training, webinar and seminar both in customer premises and online medium.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field
- Strong coding in a variety of languages and technical communication skills
- Detail oriented Ability to multitask
- ready to travel
