Core Focus: Support global teams and the Ghaziabad manufacturing facility by verifying customer requirements and preparing technically/commercially accurate tenders for API centrifugal pumps.
Key Responsibilities
Proposal & Tender Management: Review RFPs/tender documents; prepare and submit comprehensive techno-commercial proposals (Inquiry to Order / ITO process).
Technical Evaluation: Analyze detailed specifications for packaged equipment; translate customer requirements to sub-vendors and evaluate sub-supplier quotes for critical components.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Interface with Sales, Engineering, Design, and Global Tendering teams to provide technical clarifications and support order placement.
Data Management: Accurately maintain and manage CPQ tender data and the tendering front log.
Client Support: Assist regional sales teams with win-order strategies and support customer visits during bid clarifications/negotiations
Education & Experience
Education: Full-time B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institute.
Experience: 8+ years as an Applications Engineer for API Pumps (preferably multistage centrifugal pumps) within Product or EPC MNCs.
Industry Focus: Mandatory experience in the Oil & Gas, Power & Energy, or Industrial markets.
Skills & Competencies
Technical: Expert knowledge of API multistage centrifugal pumps and their associated systems.
Commercial: Strong commercial focus, negotiation skills, and a proven track record of writing accurate bids and meeting deadlines.
Soft Skills: Excellent remote collaboration, structured organization, attention to detail, and professional composure under pressure.
Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Working Conditions
Primarily remote desk-based work with occasional travel required for customer bid negotiations.
