Interpret drawings for modifications and upgradation of aero derivative engi - nes.Review customer technical specifications and prepare clarifications that provide an acceptable technical solution for both the customer and Siemens Ene
- rgy.Define overall scope of the upgrade including aero derivative engine SGT A20, SGT A35 and SGT A65 (Trent) package material for various mechanical, electrical & control syst
- ems.Presenting the requirements to internal stakeholder as part of the technical review proc
- ess.Identifying and mitigating risks associated and reducing lead time to quote by utilizing the standard AE conce
- pts.Confirm the cost of scope and associated material by liaising with vend
- ors.Conduct unit health assessments for various aero derivative units and packages at different si
- tes.Manage projects for various improvements, such as Standard Solutions and Customer Asset Management (C
- AM).Support operations delivery commitment based on the bid strat
- egy.Ensure integration of package auxiliary systems with driver and driven equipm
- ent.Supply project team with final committed Supplier Document Register List (SDRL) & Inspection & Test Plan (I
- TP).Produce bid phase drawings and satisfy contract delivery timeli
- nes.Attend and support Limits of Authority (LoA) and Technical Review meetings as requi
- red.Provide technical support to internal customers and liaise with external part
ies.
What You Bring (required qualification and skill
- sets)Bachelor's/master's degree in engineering in Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation & controls with experience of at least 2-5 years in the oil and gas industry and/or power generation indu
- stry.Knowledge of various systems like Lube oil system, Air system, Instrumentation system, control system and hydraulic sy
- stem.Knowledge of various instruments- pressure gauge, level gauge, temperature sensors, flowm
- eter.Experience in Gas Turbine products, Aero engine products would be preferr
- able.Experience in product sales support or servicing indust
- ries.Experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens control systems, Siemens AGT products and packages would be preferr
- able.Positive Mindset and proactive nature would be highly appreci
- ated.Detail-oriented skills to ensure all parts of a solution come together and work as int
- endedBasic understanding of ControlNet, DeviceNet, Ethernet, and Modbus proto
- cols.Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPo
- int),Good to have knowledge of Salesforce, PLM2020, and O
