Title: Senior ECAD Support Engineer.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Global ECAD Support Engineer to join our global team. As ECAD Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise Siemens Xpedition and Siemens EDM. The role is not limited to support ECAD, but you will be supporting MCAD application like Creo, Solid Edge, SolidWorks, and Autodesk product, as well as PLM tools, like Oracle Agile PLM, Windchill. Your role will involve troubleshooting and resolving software-related issues, coordinating with global teams, and ensuring the efficient operation of our CAD and PLM systems.
Job Responsibilities:
- End-user support on electrical CAD software (Siemens EDA) and Integrations with Siemens EDM.
- Administers, maintains, and evaluates EDA and other Engineering design applications and related system.
- Installation, configuration, and support of expertise Siemens Xpedition in Client systems.
- Troubleshoot application software problems and Work with vendors and other IT related areas to resolve the issues.
- Maintain license servers, monitor license availability, generate license utilization report, analyse, and optimize license requirement.
- Coordinates and/or performs software and operating system maintenance on CAD workstations and servers.
- Adheres to global IT standards, policies and procedures and coordinate related activities with global IT teams.
- Develop effective working relationships with internal and external business partners.
Training end users on new enhancements in CAD-PLM applications. - Create and maintain standard and Training documents.
- Secondary you will be supporting MCAD application like Creo Solid edge, SolidWorks, Inventor and its integration with PLM and PDM system like Windchill, Teamcenter and Oracle Agile EC etc.
Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Electronics or Electrical engineering or Equivalent.
- Experience: 5 to 8 years of overall experience in ECAD Applications administration and support.
- In depth knowledge in the use and application of Electrical design tools.
- Administration and support Experience with Siemens EDA/EDM/Mentor IS Must.
- Knowledge of schematic capture, EDM Library, EDM Design, PCB layout, constraints management, analysis, simulation, and integrations to PDM/PLM tools is preferred.
- License management skill.
- Programming and scripting knowledge in C, C++, Java, is plus.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem resolution skills, including hardware, software, and basic networking.
- Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills to relate well with a diverse group of end users, including coworkers, vendors.
