Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead migration and upgrade activities for Oracle WebLogic Server from 12c to 14c.
- Administer and support WebLogic environments including installation, configuration, deployment, patching, and performance tuning.
- Automate WebLogic and infrastructure configurations using Ansible and scripting tools.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines leveraging tools such as Ansible, SonarQube, and Checkmarx.
- Monitor system health, analyze logs, and resolve incidents using tools like Oracle Enterprise Manager, Splunk, Dynatrace, and New Relic.
- Troubleshoot and resolve middleware, deployment, and infrastructure-related issues.
- Support release management and environment setup across development, QA, and production systems.
- Maintain version control practices and branching strategies using Git/GitHub.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, or shell scripting languages.
Skills Required:
- Strong expertise in Oracle WebLogic Server administration, including installation, configuration, deployment, patching, and performance tuning.
- Experience in migrating and upgrading WebLogic environments, particularly from 12c to 14c.
- Proficiency in scripting using PowerShell and/or Python to automate administrative and operational tasks.
- Hands-on experience with configuration management and automation tools such as Ansible.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Oracle Enterprise Manager, Splunk, Dynatrace, and New Relic.
- Understanding of CI/CD practices and tools including SonarQube, Checkmarx, and version control using Git/GitHub.
- Knowledge of Oracle Database (19c) and middleware ecosystem including Oracle Fusion Middleware and Oracle HTTP Server.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex middleware, infrastructure, and deployment-related issues across environments.
- Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems along with basic networking concepts.
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
