Role:Application Developer-zOS

Location: Bengaluru

We are looking for an experienced Application Developer – z/OS Mainframe with strong expertise in designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise mainframe applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in COBOL, CICS, DB2, and JCL, along with a solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Candidates with exposure to trading applications and mainframe development tools will be preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, DB2, and JCL.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and execute unit testing to ensure application quality.
• Perform production support, troubleshooting, and defect resolution.
• Optimize application performance and improve system efficiency.
• Work closely with business analysts, testers, and cross-functional teams.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Support deployment activities and production releases.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience working in Agile or Waterfall development environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
