Application Developer – z/OS Mainframe (Production Support)

We are looking for a skilledz/OS Mainframe Application Developerwith strongproduction support experienceto join our team in Hyderabad. The role involves supporting critical mainframe applications, resolving incidents, and ensuring system stability. Candidates must be comfortable working innight shiftsand handling live production environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• ProvideL2/L3 production supportfor z/OS mainframe applications
• Monitor batch and online jobs,identifyfailures, and performtimelyresolution
• Analyzeand fix issues related toCOBOL programs, JCL jobs, DB2 databases, VSAM files, and CICS transactions
• Perform impact analysis and implement emergency fixes or enhancements
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for incident resolution and problem management
• Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and preventive action planning
• Support deployment activities and post-implementation validation
• Ensure SLA adherence andmaintainsystem availability

Mandatory Technical Skills:

• StrongProduction Support experiencein Mainframe environments
• COBOLprogramming
• JCL (Job Control Language)
• DB2database support
• VSAM & CICSknowledge

Eligibility Criteria:

Band: 6A, Total Experience: 2+, Relevant Experience:2 Years in Mainframe Support

Band : 6B, Total Experience: 4+ , Relevant Experience : 3 Years in Mainframe Support

Work Location:Hyderabad

Work Timings:Willing to work inNight Shifts (Production Support Environment)

Good to Have:

• Experience in incident/problem management tools
• Exposure to ITIL processes
• Prior experience in banking/insurance mainframe systems
